The senior used his strong arm and quick feet to throw for 28 touchdowns with only one interception on the season along with completing 95 out of 150 passes for 2,028 yards and had a quarterback rating of 143.1.

The fourth-year head coach displayed strong leadership to guide the Lions to a perfect season with a 12-0 record and a second consecutive PSAL Bowl conference championship in a 46-22 victory over Bayside. Lehman has won six consecutive playoff games and is third currently in New York State with a 21-game winning streak.

Lawton, who missed a few games with a sprained ankle, compiled 1,187 yards on 147 carries and finished with 16 touchdowns.
