1) St. Anthony’s (13-0 CHSHL)

The Friars continued to skate through the Catholic League with its third straight win over Chaminade, 6-1. Joe Loiacono scored two goals in the victory to clinch a playoff spot for the Long Island powerhouse.

Next: Fordham Prep at Dix Hill Ice Rink (Thursday, 7:10 p.m.)

2) Connetquot/Sayville (17-1)

The T-Birds continued to hold serve with rival Smithtown/Hauppauge with an 8-1 win over St. John the Baptist on Monday night. The team has a nine-goal lead in goals against for the first place tiebreaker with the Bulls with an extra game in hand.

Next: Northport/Huntington at The Rinx (Wednesday, 9:00 p.m.)

3) Smithtown/Hauppauge (18-1)

The Bulls still hold a two-point lead ahead of Connetquot/Sayville for first place but have played one more game than the T-Birds. They’ll finish out their season tomorrow night against St. John the Baptist and will look to keep the puck out of the net as much as possible to keep the goals against to a minimum.

Next: St. John the Baptist at The Rinx (Wednesday, 9:20 p.m.)

4) Long Beach (14-4)

The Marines were backstopped by goaltender Mark Zapson, who made 21 saves in a 5-2 win over Lynbrook. The win moved Long Beach into first place in the Michelino Division.

Next: Syosset at Bethpage Ice Rink (Tuesday, 9:15 p.m.)

5) Massapequa (13-4-1)

The Chiefs surrendered two third period goals to Oceanside Monday night and fell to the Sailors, 3-2. Paired with Long Beach's victory, Massapequa fell to second place in the Michelino Division. They'll meet up the aforementioned Marines next week for what could be first place bragging rights.

6) St. Joseph by the Sea (5-6-2)

The Vikings lost to Fordham Prep on Saturday, but bounced back in a big way Sunday with a 5-1 victory against Iona Prep.

Next: Monsignor Farrell at Staten Island Pavilion (Wednesday, 8:40 p.m.)

7) Syosset (12-4)

The Braves easily dispatched of Port Washington 18-3 Friday night. Every player registered a point in the contest as Luke Cohen earned the win in between the pipes. Syosset gets ready for a possible playoff matchup with Long Beach tonight. A win over Long Beach can propel them over both Massapequa and the Marines in next week's rankings.

8) Bellmore-Merrick (11-5-2)

The Bulldogs look to have established themselves a playoff spot in the Michelino Division as the regular season winds down. The only question is what rank will they end up as first through fourth place is separated by a mere four points.

Next: Port Washington at Bethpage Ice Rink (Wednesday, 7:15 p.m.)

9) Monsignor Farrell (5-5-3)

The Lions jumped in front of rival St. Joseph by the Sea into fourth place in the CHSHL Class A with a 4-1 win against St. Mary’s of Manhasset Monday. Now comes the grudge match with Sea Wednesday night at the Staten Island Pavilion.

Next: St. Joseph by the Sea at Staten Island Pavilion (Wednesday, 8:40 p.m.)

10) Fordham Prep (4-7-1)

The Rams remained in the playoff hunt with a 3-1 win against St. Joseph by the Sea Saturday. Fordham Prep is four points behind fourth-place Farrell with a game in hand.
