Power rankings: CT boys basketball (2/7)

Connecticut boys basketball rankings (2/7)

1. St. Joseph (14-0)
Towson-bound senior Timajh Parker had three double-doubles last week, and had the go-ahead basket as the Cadets got past Norwalk to stay perfect.

2. Kolbe Cathedral (16-0)
The Cougars and fellow unbeaten Immaculate are on a collision course. They'll meet Feb. 17.

3. Fairfield Prep (13-2)
The Jesuits needed every one of Terry Tarpey's 24 points to hold off a determined 1-14 ND-West Haven squad last Friday night.

4. Ridgefield (12-2)
Not a good Knight for the Tigers last Tuesday against Stamford.

5. Bassick (12-3)
The defending FCIAC champs gave St. Joseph everything it could handle at the Harbor Yard Classic.

6. Trinity Catholic (11-4)
The offense went silent for the Crusaders down the stretch against Warde. Next up… a showdown against Bassick.

7. Westhill (10-4)
Speaking of showdowns, the red-hot Vikings pay a visit to St. Joseph on Tuesday night.

8. Watertown (14-2)
The Indians have won six straight, and 13 of their last 14.

9. Notre Dame-Fairfield (11-4)
Beware of the Lancers, winners of six straight, in the postseason.

10. Warde (8-6)
