Livecast primer: FCIAC wrestling finals will be live-streaming the finals of the 2012 Joe Sikorski FCIAC wresting tournament on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

Undefeated Danbury, the top-ranked team in the state and winner of 25 of the last 26 league championships, is the overwhelming favorite to add to its ever-expanding trophy case.

A fierce battle for second place figures to be waged by Warde, the 2010 champion, and Trumbull, which is ranked ninth in the latest state coaches poll.

Other teams aiming for top-five finishes include Greenwich, last year's runner-up, Stamford, Westhill, New Canaan, Darien and Staples.

Among the returning champions from last year are Stamford's Ben Pierre-Saint, Westhill's Nick Jimenez, Trumbull's Ben Anderson and the Danbury trio of Kevin Jack, Shane Jennings and Dylan Bryant, a two-time first-place winner.

The two-event at New Canaan High School begins on Friday with opening rounds through quarterfinals. Semifinals are scheduled for 10 a.m. on Saturday, and the competition for third/fourth place and fifth/sixth place will take place at 2 p.m.
