Thomaston: What's happening at Thomaston?

The Thomaston High School sophomore class raised over $632.00 selling holiday candy grams to benefit the students of Sandy Hook Elementary School. In addition, the Future Business Leaders of America collected 186 teddy bears to donate to the children of Newtown.

The Interact club, a Rotary based service organization for students in grades 9-12, has been extremely busy these last few weeks.  In addition to volunteering at the local Opera House, the students collected gift boxes filled with supplies and goodies for United States service men and women stationed in Iraq.  They also organized and baked for their annual cookie exchange. The cookies are distributed to selected residents of Thomaston.
