In a span of three days last week last week, Max Rothston and the Blue Wave notched two victories over Notre Dame-Fairfield.
5. New Canaan (4-3)
The Rams’ special teams units were on fire in a FCIAC finals rematch win over St. Joseph last week. New Canaan scored four power-play goals, a short-handed goal and killed off two 5-on-3 penalties.
6. St. Joseph (4-3)
This is a big week for the Cadets, who have dropped two straight heading into showdowns against Greenwich and Ridgefield.
7. Trumbull (5-1)
The high-scoring Eagles have registered at least three goals in every game this season.
8. Staples/Weston/Shelton (4-0)
The co-op team has a Division II showdown looming against Trumbull on Saturday.
9. Notre Dame-Fairfield (2-5)
The Lancers have dropped four of their last five and will try to get back on track against New Milford on Thursday.
10. Amity (2-4)
The Spartans have yielded 25 goals in their losses this season. That doesn’t bode well with Fairfield Prep waiting on deck.
