Committed to:Kentucky

Height:6-11
Weight:220

Grade:Senior
Position:Center

At about the midway point this season, Richards set out to silence critics who believed (by his evaluation) that his drive and focus did not always meet the standards of a Kentucky recruit and McDonald's All-American. He proceeded to exhibit his prodigious athletic skills and scoring prowess in the biggest events, like his 24-point, 15-rebound outing in the Union County Tournament final against Linden, a 28-point, 16-rebound affair in the South Jersey, Non-Public B final against Roselle Catholic and the 26 points, 11 rebounds he recorded in the Tournament of Champions semifinals against Teaneck.
