Ruckert did it all for the Bulldogs with 61 receptions for 1,094 yards and 13 TDs, 64 tackles, 13 sacks, two interceptions, one returned for a score and was 49-50 on PATs and 6-9 on field goals with a long of 43.

He also broke a Long Island Championship record when he went 43-of-63 for 461 yards in the Class I final.

He had 75 tackles, 12 for losses, five sacks and two interceptions, one returned for a TD, and two forced fumbles in addition to rushing for 973 yards and 12 TDs.

He totaled 1,515 yards with 13 scores and one two-point conversion.

Pecorella was also 26-28 on PATs, 9-11 on field goal attempts with a long of 52 and of his 40 kickoffs that averaged 60.3 yards, 23 were touchbacks.

In his 27th season, Hanifan expertly helped guided the Firebirds to their first league title since capturing CHSFL ‘A’ crown in 1999. A true leader of men, Hanifan orchestrated a stunning turnaround from a 1-8 season in 2016 to a perfect 11-0 mark this fall.
