MacArthur toy drive collects over 600 toys

Starting at the end of November and leading up to the Holiday season, the MacArthur High School Business Honor Society organized a toy drive. Collection bins were placed around the school so students and staff were able to bring in new, unwrapped toys for sick children on Long Island. The students of the Business Honor Society promoted this event in order to be help brighten the holiday season for children who are less fortunate.

MacArthur High School has taken part in this event for over 20 years. This year, the Business Honor Society, with the help of the caring students and faculty of MacArthur High School, raised over 600 toys. These toys will be wrapped and distributed to children around Long Island. Mrs. Savage and Mrs. Benevento are the advisors of the Business Honor Society and the organizers of this great event.  When asked about this cause, Mrs. Savage said,  "We are so fortunate to have such generous students to help with a great local cause."
