Wednesday’s livecast features a clash of defending Long Island champions as Class AA champ Half Hollow Hills West hosts Class A title-holders Harborfields at noon.

The game will be streamed live on MSGVarsity.com. A game recap and photo gallery will be available on MSGVarsity.com shortly after the game. Video highlights will be available within 48 hours.

Half Hollow Hills West is favored to repeat as Suffolk Class AA champions despite the graduation of high-flying guard Tavon Sledge (Iowa St.). The Colts (3-1) are led by 6-4 senior forward Emile Blackman, who averaged 16.1 points per game last season and is averaging 21.0 PPG in four games this year.

Blackman’s supporting cast includes junior guard Mical Boyd and sophomore forward Terry Harris, brother of Hills West legend (and current Milwaukee Bucks rookie) Tobias Harris.

One key role player who won't be on the floor for Hills West is junior forward Neneyo Mate-Kole, a defensive stopper who is out for two months with a torn meniscus.

Harborfields (3-1) lost guard Matt McLeod (Molloy College) but returns fellow 2010-11 All-Long Island pick Lucas Woodhouse, a playmaking senior guard who averaged 11 assists per game last year.

The Tornadoes also return sharpshooting senior guard Justin Ringen and added an inside presence with Huntington transfer John Patron, who had scoring-and-rebounding double-doubles in wins over Eastport-South Manor and Newark Tech (N.J.).

Join Carl Reuter and Rob Pavinelli on the call from Half Hollow Hills West High School at noon Wednesday, only on MSGVarsity.com.
