Oak Knoll dropped two tough games this week, once to Summit and then St. Anthony's (LI) after the Friars came from behind to win 9-8. Oak Knoll has Chatham, Ridgewood, Immaculate Heart and Mountain Lakes on the schedule this month and the Royals start May with a game at Bridgewater-Raritan. Cassie Ford and the Royals could shake the entire top ten up based on their performance. Next: vs. Holy Child (April 23, 12 p.m.)

The Maroons came up short in their battle against a perennial contender in New York when they fell, 12-8, to Wantagh (LI) on Saturday. Alex Absey had two goals. Lillie Kloak and Hannah Cermackhad each had a goal and an assist. Chatham gave them a scare last week but the Maroons overcame and will have a chance to prove their worth with a brutal upcoming schedule. Next: @ Summit (April 20, 4 p.m.)

The Panthers could make an argument that they could top the New Jersey power rankings, but they simply haven’t played the quality opponents the top three squads have. Nevertheless, the Panthers are mowing through the competition and will likely move up based on a number of head-to-head matchups this week. If they handle their business that is.
