The Hilltopers had another great week on the turf that included two more wins against fellow top ten Jersey teams. Sara Szynal came up huge with a four-goal performance in a 9-8 win over Ridgewood and was helped out by Maggie Moriarty and Samantha Forsyth, who had a pair of goals each, in an 8-6 win over Mountain Lakes. The Maroons had a rollercoaster ride of a week. Ridgewood lost a pair of games against Wantagh (LI) and Summit, but bounced back in a major way. The Maroons, led by four goals from Lillie Kloak, pulled off an upset on the road at South Jersey-power Moorestown and followed that up with a dominant, 17-10, win over Oak Knoll. Bridgewater-Raritan, led by the likes of Kristen Murphy who had four goals and four assists in their last game, have beaten everyone who has challenged them and done so with relative ease. The have won seven of their ten games by double digits but have yet to face any of Jersey's top teams.

Somers remains undefeated after two more twins this week over Yorktown, 11-10, and Mahopac, 18-6. While the Tuskers tripled the Indians’ score, it was a close call against the strong Huskers. Oak Knoll had a busy week with four games on the docket, three of which came against top 15 opponents in NJ. The Royals were dominant in a 16-6 win over Mendham behind four goals and an assist from both Cassie Ford and Claire Gavin. Annabelle Zebrowski scored three and dished out five assists. Oak Knoll was tested but snuck past Chatham and then lost to Ridgewood to close the week. Next: @ IHA (April 27, 4 p.m.)
