The Hilltoppers have proven thus far that they are the dominant team in 2016. Summit has beaten all comers from the state of New Jersey. The Hilltoppers, led by Sara Szynal, Catherine Cordrey and Julia Persche, knocked off Moorsetown, 15-6, for a Group 3 title and a spot in the coveted Tournament of Champions. The Bulldogs lost their season opener at Moorestown and have responded by going on a 25-0 run since the late-March loss. Kyra Weiner has 28 points over the last five games for the Bulldogs and will be need to be in top form, along with Brittany Bruno and Maggie Jennings, if they hope to be the first New Jersey squad to knock off Summit when they duke it out in the Tournament of Champions semifinals.
