Power rankings: WE/HV girls lacrosse (3/27)

Top 10 Westchester/Hudson Valley girls lacrosse teams

1) Fox Lane — Carolina-bound midfielder Sammy Jo Tracy is Section 1's premier player.

2) Lakeland/Panas (1-0) — The defending Class A champ opened up the season with a convincing 14-9 win over John Jay-CR on March 26.

3) Yorktown — The loss of the Scott twins won't be easy to overcome, but the Huskers always reload.

4) Suffern (0-1) — UPenn-bound middie Lely DeSimone will look to carry the Mounties past rival Lakeland/Panas in 2012.

5) North Rockland — Kaitlyn Rau returns to lead a Red Raiders squad that went 13-4-1 last year.

6) Brewster — All-American Lindsay Biondi transferred to Ithaca HS, but the Bears still return tons of talent and will be a contender in Class B.

7) John Jay-Cross River (0-1) — The Indians will lean on Northwestern-bound Lauren Murray and USC-bound Kelsey Davey.

8) Bronxville — Talented middie Taylor Reynolds returns to lead the Broncos.

9) Pearl River — The Pirates, who graduated a slew of key players, will look to follow up last year's run to the program's first-ever sectional title.

10) Nyack (1-0) — Upstart Andie O’Sullivan, who broke onto the scene last year as a freshman, will take on an even bigger role for the Indians.
